I'm not sure what to make of the arrest and hospitalization of the guy who videotaped the beating of a teenager by an Inglewood, Calif. policeman, or his cries for help as he was hustled into a police SUV with tinted windows. He had misdemeanor warrants out for him, okay; they initially claimed he had missed an appearance at a grand jury, and then his lawyers said on the Today show this morning that he hadn't even been subpeona'd yet when he was arrested.
His arrest was videotaped by CNN's LA office surveillance cameras.
I think I'll stay clear of L.A. County for a while.
