Okay, I'm officially giving CSS layout regions the boot. They don't just suck, they blow. Dreamweaver may handle them passably, but there just doesn't seem to be any way to guarantee that they'll render well enough in any given browser to be legible.

So it's back to a table-based layout. Tables rock. They're simple, they can scale to the window, and they work the same in just about every browser. I'll keep CSS for text, but it's back to HTML 1.0 layout for me.
