Another idol of my youth is gone: Dee Dee Ramone died two days ago of a drug overdose.

An update on my problem with broken desktop home page graphics–it wasn't Mozilla, or Opera, but Radio. The Use File URLs setting that seems to have snuck into my prefs page (whick .root upgrade brought that one in?). I switched it back off, and *bling!* my graphics were back.
