Robots on the range

The Rat did a one-blogger blogger roundtable with folks from the Army evaluating robots for removing unexploded ordnance yesterday. The Army Environmental Command looked at a number of robots developed by the Air Force Research Lab’s Materials and Manufacturing Directorate for the job of clearing and expanding its ranges, taking people out of the dirty and dangerous job of finding, flagging, digging up and disposing unexploded ordnance (UXO).
